The Expert Patients Programme is a self-management course giving people the confidence, skills and knowledge to better manage their condition and be in more control of their lives. Courses are free of charge and are run over a six week period by WPCT. Long-term conditions include diabetes; cancer; heart disease; asthma; back pain; and arthritis. Westminster’s NHS Stop Smoking Service is available to anyone who lives or works in Westminster. This free service is one of the top performing in London and provides group or one to one sessions for anyone who wishes to give up smoking or for those who are concerned about starting again.
These services are primarily for individuals who do not have a fixed address, or who are having difficulty in registering with a GP surgery for any other reason.
