The Centre works with homeless young people, badly housed families, refugees, asylum seekers and migrants helping them to obtain employment and break out of the cycle of homelessness and social exclusion. Services include Employment advice; IT training; English classes for speakers of other languages; Family Services including crèche facilities for families accessing services within the Centre, family support sessions and free childcare provision for eligible families with pre-school children; a 32 bed hostel for young homeless people, an 8 bed hostel for people in recovery from substance misuse problems; the Medical Surgery offering drop-in GP, nurse and counselling services; advice on housing, and immigration; a full financial inclusion programme including debt management and benefits advice; a wide range of volunteering and mentoring opportunities and a very well-known charity shop. All new clients are given a full assessment of their needs. Priority is given to residents of south Westminster and people who are homeless, including those with no access to public funds.
Crisis Employment Services works to help get single homeless people into meaningful, sustainable employment leading to a home, stability and better quality of life. They can provide specialist training opportunities for clients to help support them into worthwhile career paths. They provide information and advice, guidance and their Work and Learning Coaches work closely with individuals to achieve their goals of employment. Crisis Employment Service also works in partnership with prospective employers to help fill skills gaps within a company by recruiting skilled and highly motivated candidates.

Edward Alsop Court is a Salvation Army resettlement hostel for homeless men. They deliver in house education and training courses and have a programme of Life Skills activities to ensure that resettlement is successful and where possible, permanent.
Westminster Works holds a Job Club on Thursdays and members of the public are invited to attend by contacting Westminster Works for an appointment. Westminster Adult Education Service deliver ESOL classes two evenings per week in term time and non-residents are invited to join the classes.

Telephone advice information and assistance for people who have a housing problem, are in housing need or are facing homelessness. Issues dealt with include housing rights, harassment, illegal eviction, rent and mortgage arrears, housing benefit and domestic violence.
