If you are private landlord and interested in letting your property, Westminster City Council can offer advice on incentives, the Housing Association Leasing scheme and the private-sector letting scheme.

Residential Environmental Health deliver a responsive service to all Westminster residents (other than Council tenants) investigating housing complaints and assessing homes for hazards that may harm occupiers or visitors. They can offer advice on housing standards, or intervene and enforce housing and public health legislation where necessary. Incorporated in the team is a 'Home Improvement Agency' which provides advice, support and assistance to elderly, disabled and vulnerable people. Staying Put Services are funded by NHS Westminster to arrange minor works and small repairs to homes for residents over 60 on a low income and/or disabled. The aim is to improve safety and aid independence in your home at a reasonable cost.
They can undertake a range of minor repairs to your home such as; fitting smoke detectors and security locks, fixing broken electrical sockets and switches, minor plumbing repairs such as replacing tap washers, unblocking sinks, general repairs and other jobs. Certain conditions apply and some repairs are not covered by this service.
