Chelsea College of Art and Design offers a range of full and part time courses in SW1.  The college’s expertise lies in fine art, graphic design communication, interior and spatial design, textile design and research into the history and theory of visual and multimedia cultures. 

As well as degree courses, an extensive range of short courses run throughout the year, including an introduction to painting and drawing, interior design, how to take better photographs, hand knitting and garden design.

Migrants Resource Centre works with and for migrants and refugees. It provides: courses in English and computing; general advice with specialists working in immigration; opportunities for volunteering; creche provision for students and others on a drop-in basis and a voice for migrants and refugees in the wider community.

U Can Do IT offers training, encouragement and support for blind, deaf and physically disabled people on the use of the Internet using 1 to 1 training in peoples own homes at affordable cost. They can also assist with creating and amending CVs, online job applications and corporate Internet research prior to job interviews. Potential students will need a reasonably up-to-date computer (less than 5 years old) with Windows 98 or similar, plus a modem and telephone line. Recycled computers (Pentium 3 or equivalent) can be provided by the organisation for a delivered and installed price of £95.

Westminster Kingsway College is a large college in central London, based at six centres in Westminster and Camden. The college offers a wide range of further, adult and higher education programmes, which are available for people of all ages from sixteen years upwards.

The Victoria Centre houses courses in hospitality, leisure, tourism, business and technology, including a professional chef's diploma course, and courses in law, accounting, management, marketing and computing.

To help you to decide what your next step should be, the college offers a number of opportunities to get advice – these are specially useful if you are thinking of progressing through a range of qualifications.  Advisers are available at all main college centres during term-time between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
