Support4Volunteering helps make volunteering easy. They support Westminster residents who have some mental health support needs and are not confident enough to access opportunities on their own. They accept self-referrals or referrals from support workers.
They work with each volunteer to meet their individual needs. This can range from help with finding opportunities, filling in application forms and attending appointments or just being on the end of a phone for advice. They also provide support to volunteers and organisations once people have begun volunteering.
They can help anyone who wants to volunteer, is a Westminster Resident and is receiving an incapacity related benefit. They can also come to groups to run information sessions.
For more information or to book an information session please ring 020 7259 8100 or email: support4vol@westminstermind.org.uk
