As the sporting events have dominated so far this summer you could be forgiven for wanting to escape the talk of corner kicks and double faults to enjoy a relaxing sport free evening. And what better way to escape the sporting frenzy currently sweeping the nation than at an outdoor summer film night, watching some of the best loved films, all for FREE?

As part of its Great British Summer season, Land Securities is holding free film screenings of popular Hollywood blockbusters at Cardinal Place in Victoria. Pull up a deckchair, relax al-fresco style and watch one of the great films on offer all shown on screens specially installed on retro Great British Summer caravans.

For the Patrick Swayze fans among us there’s the cult classic Dirty Dancing being shown on 7th July at 7.00pm. The perfect mix of shops, bars and restaurants at each of the three locations means there’s plenty of retail therapy to be had before settling into the film.

Fans of London’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, should make their way to the screening of Guy Ritchie’s Oscar-nominated adaptation of the film, screened on 9th July at 7.00pm. All three sites will be enhancing viewers’ experiences with readily available refreshments and a pop-up popcorn stall for all film lovers.
