This summer, how about trying out some table tennis in London for free. 100 ping-pong tables will pop up all across London including two in SW1 - at Tate Britain on Millbank and at the back of Glastonbury House on Pimlico Estate, SW1V 4NP.
Marked ‘Stop and Play’, the tables are up for four weeks from the 24th July for all to enjoy. Bats and balls are supplied: to join in the fun just borrow a bat from the side of the table!
As well as free-play, each ping-pong table features a varied programme of master-classes, competitions and free to join activities. Highlights include:
‘Passport to PINGland’ – Perform 3 ping-pong challenges and win a free bat – at various locations.
‘Sing n Ping’ – The summer singalong/pingalong at Victoria Embankment Gardens – August 19th 6:30 – 8:00PM.
Ping! has been created by Sing London and is produced in association with the English table tennis association.
