Each organisation has its own way of handling complaints, compliments and suggestions. We have provided information for local health, police and council complaints procedures below.
If your complaint is about GP, dental, pharmacy, optician or hospital services, in the first instance you should contact the practice, pharmacy, optician or hospital concerned. Each of these organisations has a system for sorting out complaints, including a named person to deal with your concern. If you are not happy with the outcome, they must tell you about how to take your complaint further and how to contact the Primary Care Trust.
To find out more information please visit the Westminster Primary Care Trust’s website.
If you think a police officer or member of police staff has behaved incorrectly or unfairly, you have the right to make a complaint. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, you should make your complaint within 12 months of the alleged incident. There are a number of different ways that you can make a complaint, visit the Met Police website for more information.
To find out how to make a complaint, compliment or suggestion about a service provided by Westminster City Council please visit the Westminster City Council’s website for more information.
