A ward councillor is directly elected to represent and serve the people in a specific ward. Ward councillors act as a direct link between the council and the voters, and there are three ward councillors in every ward.
People can get in touch with their ward councillors if they have any problems or concerns about their local area, or the services they receive. The ward councillors will try to deal with issues on behalf of people living in their ward, for example, by taking up matters with council officials. You can contact your ward councillor in email, by writing to them, or by attending a local ward councillors’ surgery.
To find out more about your ward councillors and how to contact them call Westminster City Council on 020 7641 2322, email efield@westminster.gov.uk or visit Westminster City Council’s website.
